Nestled within Polynesian Spa, the Retreat Day Spa carries forward Rotorua’s long tradition of geothermal wellness and restorative therapies. This is a place to pause, recharge, and connect with the healing power of nature. Every therapy begins with a complimentary soak in our Deluxe Lake Spa, valued at $79.95. Here, you can take in the views over Lake Rotorua while bathing in our alkaline and acidic mineral waters, just as visitors have done for generations.

Whether you are here for a targeted treatment, a full spa package, or a group wellness experience, the Retreat Day Spa combines natural geothermal therapies with modern spa care to create balance for body and mind.

Important: Your Pre-treatment Experience

We encourage all guests to arrive one hour before their appointment. This gives time to complete your consultation form and enjoy a relaxing soak in the Deluxe Lake Spa before therapy. It’s all part of ensuring you leave refreshed, balanced, and cared for.

Retreat Day Spa Hours

Monday to Sunday: 10am – 7pm.
First treatment begins at 10:15am (with your pre-therapy soak at 9:15am).

Groups and Special Requests

For groups of six or more, we offer customised experiences that can include yoga, meditation, lunch, hot pools, and spa therapy. Please contact us at retreat@polynesianspa.co.nz to create your group package.

Dual therapy rooms are available for those wishing to share their experience. To book, please email retreat@polynesianspa.co.nz.
