Polynesian Spa is located on the shores of Lake Rotorua, in a central location at 1000 Hinemoa Street, Rotorua. Those with a GPS device can plug in at a latitude of -38.1381062 and longitude of 176.25698999999997 to be taken to our front door.
Rotorua, being in the central North Island, is within a daytrip from most towns and cities in the central to upper North Island. Driving time to Rotorua is approximately:
• Three hours from Auckland
• One and a quarter hours from Hamilton
• One hour from Tauranga
• One hour from Taupo
To find our complex, visitors arriving from the North will arrive to Rotorua via State Highway 5, most commonly having travelled along State Highway 1 prior. From State Highway 5, take State Highway 30A and Fenton Street to find Hinemoa Street.
Visitors from Tauranga will also arrive via State Highway 5, having joined from State Highway 36.
State Highway 5 joins Taupo and Rotorua so visitors from the south will arrive in Rotorua on this road and be taken straight to Fenton Street.
There is an abundance of free parking located around Polynesian Spa and there is a drop-off and pick-up zone right outside the front door.
The Rotorua Airport is located on State Highway 30. If you choose to rent a car at the airport, it is approximately a 15-minute drive along the State Highway, also known locally as Te Ngae Road to join Fenton Street. For those not driving, the airport always has a supply of taxis and shuttles and it is also connected to the local bus system which will drop you off near the intersection of Fenton and Hinemoa Streets, just a 5 minute walk to the spa.
