Being able to keep our staff and visitors safe across all areas; pools, café, shop and particularly the spa retreat which is a close contact area, is very important to us.

The new COVID-19 Protection Framework – the Traffic Light System, comes into effect on the 3rd of December.   This government-mandated system aims to provide more freedoms to vaccinated New Zealanders and visitors.

Under the new framework we will require our visitors to the complex to meet the following entry requirements:

  • All visitors must be double vaccinated and be able to scan their “My Vaccine Pass” on arrival. Exemption certificates must be available should they apply. We may also ask for photo verification.
  • Sanitise their hands
  • Sign in using the NZ COVID Tracer App.
  • Wear masks while inside which includes the following areas: our shop, reception, and the café (until seated), as well as the changing rooms.
  • Maintain social distancing measures wherever possible
  • Comply with any additional public health measures

We will be open under all traffic light colours ie: red, yellow and green, with the above requirements being mandatory under each.

 Thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we adopt the new COVID-19 protection measures.

Pools, 88Ra Cafe & Shop: Open 7 days a week – 9am – 10pm (last pool entry 9:15pm)

Spa Retreat: Open 7 days a week –  10am to 7pm

Regular  open times outside of holiday season:

Wednesday to Sunday: 9am – 10pm for Pools, 88Ra Cafe & Shop
Wednesday to Sunday: 10am – 7pm for the Spa Retreat
Please note that the last entry for the pools is at 9:15pm. We start our evening lock-up and pool cleaning procedures at 9:45pm.

Busy times

Our Pools are generally less busy first thing in the morning and during the middle of the day.

We have gone cashless to keep it safer, faster and more hygienic for our visitors and team. We offer Paywave facilities in all payment areas as a contactless and convenient way to pay.

Feeling Unwell?

Please do not come visit us if you are sick. Stay home and get tested for COVID-19 if you have any have flu-like symptoms. We’d love to see you when you are well again!
