Deluxe Lake Spa is Polynesian Spa’s peaceful lakefront geothermal bathing area in Rotorua, with hot mineral pools designed for seated immersion rather than swimming. Suitable for all ages, it offers a calm, family-friendly setting where guests can soak in Rachel Spring and Priest Spring mineral water while enjoying views over Lake Rotorua. Towels, lockers, premium shower essentials, heated recliners, and the indoor relaxation lounge are included for a comfortable, unhurried visit.

Hot Mineral Pools & Cold Plunge

Five hot mineral pools designed for seated immersion:
- Four Rachel Spring alkaline mineral pools (36-41°C / 97-106°F, 0.7m deep / 27.5 inches), and known for their soft, silky feel on the skin.
- One Priest Spring acidic mineral pool (41°C / 106°F, 0.7m deep / 27.5 inches), sulphate rich and popular for soothing tired muscles and joints.
One cold plunge pool for contrast bathing between hot and cold (0.8m deep / 31.5 inches, approximately 2m x 1m / 6.6ft x 3.3ft).

Relaxation Areas & Onsite Café

Ten geothermally heated recliners for resting between soaks.
Large indoor relaxation lounge included with entry.

Family-Friendly Information

Deluxe Lake Spa is suitable for all ages.
Children under 8 must be actively supervised in the water by a caregiver aged 16 or over.
Infants under 2 enter free.
To help maintain a calm bathing environment, shouting, diving, running, jumping, and splashing are not permitted.

Early mornings and evenings after 8pm are the quietest times.
Bring a water bottle, and swimwear (hire/purchase available onsite).
