By entering the facility, guests acknowledge that geothermal bathing carries inherent risks and agree to follow all safety signage and staff guidance.
All guests must follow Polynesian Spa pool rules and staff instructions at all times.
Appropriate swimwear is required in all bathing areas.
Children must be actively supervised by a responsible caregiver at all times.
Infants must wear approved swim nappies with an appropriate swimwear over the swim nappy when entering the pools.
Guests must behave respectfully towards other visitors and staff. Polynesian Spa reserves the right to remove any guest whose behaviour may compromise the safety or enjoyment of others.
Memberships, concession passes and resident passes are subject to specific eligibility requirements.
Membership benefits are personal to the registered holder and may not be transferred, resold or shared unless otherwise stated.
Polynesian Spa reserves the right to request identification to verify eligibility for resident passes or discounted memberships.
Misuse of membership privileges may result in suspension or cancellation of the membership without refund.
Gift vouchers issued by Polynesian Spa:
Gift vouchers may be used for eligible Polynesian Spa experiences including bathing, spa therapies, retail products and café purchases unless otherwise specified.
Lost, stolen or damaged vouchers may not be replaced.
Guests are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled private pool booking time and 1-hour for scheduled spa therapy bookings. Late arrivals for spa therapy appointments may result in a shortened treatment time in order to avoid delays for other guests. The full treatment price will still apply. For private pools and timed bookings, session times cannot be extended due to late arrival.
Pool Bookings
Bookings for pool entry can be rescheduled with a minimum of 12 hours’ notice. Guests may change their booking to another date within 3 months of the original booking, subject to availability. Pool bookings are non-refundable. Changes requested with less than 12 hours’ notice and no-shows are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Spa Therapy Bookings
Spa therapy appointments require a minimum of 12 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes. If sufficient notice is provided, bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled. Cancellations or changes made with less than 12 hours’ notice will result in the full booking fee being charged.
Group Bookings
For group pool bookings of 20 people or more, at least 12 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes. If the entire group booking is cancelled with sufficient notice, a refund may be arranged. Any changes made with less than 12 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
All bookings are subject to availability.
Bookings made online, by phone or through third-party partners are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation email has been issued.
The person making the booking accepts responsibility for ensuring all guests included in the booking comply with Polynesian Spa policies and safety guidelines.

Purpose-made swimwear is required at all times at Polynesian Spa to maintain hygiene, safety, and water quality. Underwear, street clothing, denim, cotton garments, leggings, dresses, or any non-swim fabrics are not permitted in the pools. Swimwear is available to hire or purchase on site from the Spa Essentials Shop, including modesty swimwear. Infants and toddlers must wear an approved swim nappy, and appropriate swimwear must be worn over the swim nappy at all times while in the pools. Approved swim nappies are available for purchase on site. Polynesian Spa reserves the right to refuse pool entry to guests who are not wearing suitable swimwear in line with these guidelines.
For wellness class bookings, we require at least 12 hours’ notice for any cancellations. A full refund will be provided when this notice is met. Cancellations or changes made within 12 hours of the class are non-refundable.

• We are happy to reschedule your appointment should the sufficient notice of 72 hours be given however; this will be subject to availability on the chosen date.
• Late arrivals may be granted entry at the discretion of the Manager on duty, the time allocated in the original booking will continue and will not be extended due to late arrivals. We request that you exit the pool after the 30 minutes agreed booking time, if this is extended with no prior authority of the company, subsequent charges may be applied. At no point will the company be held liable for the result of lateness, sufficient time should be given when arriving for the booking made

The Operator reserves all rights to cancel any Activity or Booking at its discretion for (but not limited to) any of the following reasons:
a) waterway, road or weather conditions;
b) unsuitability of Guest(s) due to reasons such as age, ill health, intoxication or any other reasons rendering a Guest unsuitable or unfit to participate in the Activity;
c) any other circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of the Operator. All Guests agree to adhere to any instructions in relation to the Activity from the Operator at all time.

CANCELLATION
We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. For direct (non-group) bookings, you are welcome to reschedule your booking within 3 months without any penalty fees, provided we receive a minimum of 12 hours’ notice. Please contact us at bookings@polynesianspa.co.nz or dutymanager@polynesianspa.co.nz to request adjustments. Please note that refunds are not available for direct pool bookings, and changes requested with less than 12 hours’ notice are non-refundable and non-transferable.
