Families will love the look and feel of the refreshed Polynesian Spa Family Spa area this summer after $500,000 of investment to upgrade the experience.
Stepping into the spa, you’ll notice a warmer feel with earthy tones of fresh paint replacing bright blue, and with new stainless steel handles for easy pool access.
The storage units for belongings have been updated too and the changing room facilities are on a whole new level after being completely rebuilt. Featuring granite sink tops, non-slip tiled floors and shower areas, as well as family friendly private changing rooms – getting young ones changed is now a more enjoyable experience.
Polynesian Spa chief executive Gert Taljaard says Polynesian Spa has always been a favourite with families young and old and it wanted to ensure the area provided a quality experience for visitors.
“The new look is contemporary and the changing rooms provide a level of luxury not often encountered in family pool areas.”
“Our café also caters to children with small ice creams, freshly squeezed juices and delicious food combos which are perfect for hungry little ones after enjoying their time in the pools.”
The Family Spa features a large freshwater chlorinated pool (33oC) with a toddlers section, deeper section and small hydroslide.
Sliding and splashing, kids love the large pool while parents watch on from the comfort of the two Rachel Spring hot mineral pools (37oC – 40oC) or from comfortable spots on the edge of the pool with new furniture (this December) to recline in comfort and style.
