You have the power to change yourself. Change is within you.
Happiness is an inside job. You get it from within “you”. Hollywood happiness (all those bling things!) lift you up briefly. Money, above a certain level where all your needs are met, doesn’t buy you more happiness. It just buys you options.

I use these tips to help my wellness coaching clients. All these tips have helped me too to uplift my own life. I hope at least one of them inspires you.
- Shift your mindset towards the positive. See failures as an opportunity for growth.
- Tell mates about a new healthy habit you want to adopt. Strong social support holds us more accountable and therefore likely to be successful in uplifting our health.
- Do something you love and do it often. It can be a sport, playing a musical instrument, surfing, knitting, gardening… just find things you love to do that bring you joy and make you smile. Your happy attitude from doing things you love will then be “felt” by everyone around you.
- Practice kindness. This has a boomerang effect. Give it out more and it will come back more to you too. Everyone loves kindness. Giving it out will help you feel good too.
