This wānanga offers a range of wellness practices that will guide you through the process of releasing tension and finding inner calm:

• Mindfulness Meditation: Calm your mind and enhance emotional clarity with guided meditations.
• Breathwork: Practice breathing techniques that help you release tension and reduce stress.
• Cacao Ritual: Enjoy a pure cacao hot drink, specially prepared to help open your heart and enhance emotional clarity. The drink is a high concentration of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and is designed to enhance emotional clarity and openness, making it a perfect complement to your experience.
• Sound Healing: Immerse yourself in soothing sounds from crystal bowls and other therapeutic instruments that promote deep relaxation and balance.

You’ll also experience elements of Te Ao Māori traditions, which add a meaningful cultural dimension to your journey of emotional release and renewal.

Meet Nae

Renee Marsters, or Nae as she’s known, is not only a skilled Mindfulness Meditation Practitioner but also a Clinical Nurse Specialist in MH Rotorua. With a deep curiosity for human energy and our intrinsic connection to the environment, Nae is passionate about exploring the power of meditation. She believes in our innate ability to calm and self-manage our thoughts and emotions, leading to a more balanced and harmonious life. Nae also leads our weekly Sound Healing & Meditation Classes in our Mahoney Wellness Room. These regular sessions offer a chance to unwind and experience the restorative power of sound in a shorter format. The Surrender & Release Ceremony takes the core principles of these classes and builds upon them, providing a deeper and more immersive experience for participants seeking profound relaxation and renewal.
