At Polynesian Spa, we’re proud to be a cornerstone of the Robe Trip experience. Every visit begins with a soothing soak in our natural geothermal waters. If you’re booked in for a therapy, you’ll robe up in one of our famously fluffy robes after your geothermal soak — a cosy ritual that signals it’s time to truly let go. While robes are part of the therapy journey, that sense of comfort surrounds every experience, whether you’re soaking in the main pools or enjoying the privacy of your own Lake View Private Pool with your special someone.

Start with a soak in our geothermal mineral pools, sourced from the Priest Acidic Spring to ease tired muscles and achy joints, and the Rachel Alkaline Spring to soften and nourish skin — all with stunning views over Sulphur Bay, Lake Rotorua.

Book a therapy and enjoy the added comfort of robed relaxation. Our qualified therapists offer deeply restorative massages, facials and body treatments designed to help you unwind. Our dual therapy rooms are perfect for two! All therapies include a pre-therapy soak in the Deluxe Lake Spa hot pools.

Prefer your own space? Our Private Pools offer peaceful, 45-minute sessions with uninterrupted lake views — perfect for couples and friends to reconnect and restore.

Whether you’re here for family time, quiet reflection, or quality moments with a loved one, our Pavilion Pools (ages 12+) and Deluxe Lake Spa provide calm, restorative spaces for all.

Make time for something nourishing at 88Ra Café — our onsite spot for warm drinks and wholesome bites before or after your soak. Enjoy NZ’s supreme gelato winner, Little Lato, exclusively served at Polynesian Spa. Add one of our delicious grazing platters with some champers to end your session on a high note.

No visit is complete without a visit to our Spa Essentials Shop for a curated range of premium and NZ made skin therapy products, homewares and gifts. Our own signature range of Rachel products make outstanding gifting or a spoil for yourself.
