Polynesian Spa Ownership

Polynesian Spa is a 100% New Zealand-owned private company. Rangatira Investments is one of the principal investors in Polynesian Spa and holds 51% of the company. The remaining 49% of the company is owned by the founding co-owners, the Lobb Family.

Historical Preservation

Polynesian Spa is located on the tranquil shores of Lake Rotorua, New Zealand. The site is registered by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust and has a rich history dating back to the 1800s.

The spa is based at the historic site of the first ever Rotorua bath building, which was established in the 1800s. Elements of early buildings and baths have been carefully retained, preserving the site’s unique character and charm.

In addition to its historic significance, the site also overlooks the Sulphur Bay Wildlife Reserve, offering stunning views of the surrounding natural beauty.
