Try our new combo deal combining the Adult Pools & Standard Private pool. Enjoy the privacy of a standard private pool followed by experiencing the lake views and unique mineral water of the Adult Pools & Priest Spa. The combo is per adult, which includes 30 minutes in a standard private pool, followed by a soak (with no time limit) in the Adult Pools & Priest Spa. Please note that there is a minimum requirement of two adults per private pool for health and safety reasons. This combo can not be used in conjunction with any other offer and is valid until 31 March 2012.

Rotorua Spa Stories
  
Nude bathing, electric shock therapy, mud baths and curative waters.. Visitors to Rotorua can now combine two unique world-class attractions, Polynesian Spa and Rotorua Museum, and discover the great historical story that links the two. When the Bath House, now home to Rotorua Museum, first opened in 1908 as a therapeutic spa facility, it drew thermal waters for its range of treatments from both the Rachel and Priest Springs located at the Government Gardens. At Polynesian Spa visitors are to this day able to bathe in the thermal waters from these two springs. Polynesian Spa still provides some of the more relaxing therapies including the Aix massage that were historically provided at the Bath House.
At Rotorua Museum innovative displays and an exciting cinema experience portray the historical story of spa treatments in Rotorua, particularly those that took place at the Bath House. Original in-situ treatment rooms and mud baths in the steamy basement are all part of the experience. A free gift is part of the package - either a beautiful Taking the Cure book about the history of the Rotorua Bath House, or a lovely pack of Polynesian Spa bath salts.
